She attended Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN where she majored in Mass Communication and Theatre. Deniece is definitely a mainstay in the world of media. After over 6 years of being behind the microphone and only being heard, it was decided by the Producers at Crosswind Media Advertising that it was time to take Deniece, the show and her contributing guests to the television cameras. Christian Comedian, Bone Hampton will also make special appearances on Coffee Table Conversations as Deniece's guest co-host and will bring his hilarious comedy with him that he so often relays on The View. Deniece has been a panel guest on a local political talk show, BE THE PEOPLE which airs weekly on WSMV, Channel 4, Nashville, TN and WTVC, Channel 9, Chattanooga, TN. She landed her first job in the media world at a local African-American owned newspaper company as the Executive Assistant to the Advertising Director and was later offered a job in broadcasting as co-host on a radio program produced by the newspaper. "Employment Talk Live" Deniece had the opportunity to interview daily, live on-air HR Directors, Managers and Recruiters about vacant positions within their company. Deniece is also the co-host of another local television show, Restore Our Communities (R.O.C.) airing on NECAT CATV Channel 19. The show's focus is community leaders who are encouraging positive actions in Nashville, Tennessee .
Deniece is well known for her upstanding community efforts. She is a current member of Nashville's Association of Black Journalist (NABJ). She has also served in various positions including Public Relations Director for J.E.W.E.L.S., a local youth mentoring organization in Nashville, TN.
She devotes much of her time doing motivational speaking to our next generation about the importance of self-esteem, personal hygiene, college, job preparedness and more. She often serves as Panel Moderator for various youth causes in the community.
